Joomla! uses the error.php file to handle several HTTP Status errors, including "403 Forbidden", "404 Not Found", and "500 Internal Server" errors. Learn more about the Custom error pages.
You can use the Error page options to customize the logo, background image for the error page.
The following settings can be found in the Basic → Error Page panel.
